About Me

I consider myself to be a young man, but getting into my late thirties. Maybe I'm not so young anymore. I'm a husband and a father and I like to work hard, mostly in service.

I love adventure and have had a great time moving all over for literally my entire life. Here's the full story! I was born in Durban, South Africa, my brother in Johannessburg 15 months later. From  the age of four years of age to seven years my parent's lived in the UK, we then went back to Durban for six years and on to the farmers capital of the Free State, Bloemfontein. I can't believe I ended up living there for ten years! 

After that I was supposedly a grown up and went on a two year working holiday to the UK. Then I had a real adventure, I cycled 4000 kms in three months around Europe, it started in France and ended up in the Czech Republic.

Then I met my wife and thought going to China couldn't be that hard. I was quite wrong. Everything I thought I knew about China I did not know about China. After trying to live in South Africa again for a few years we are trying a fourth continent and country here in Canada. It's a little harder this time around.
